We had the best experience with dj! He was so kind and helpful... we brought six people from our family and everyone had the most positive experience surfing they have ever had! I went to Maui in June 2026, it was unimaginable that I would surf. I am 72. My son said be adventurous. I don’t think he had surfing in mind when he suggested this to his mother. The first step was a lesson. I totally lucked out with DJ. A different instructor and it would not have been the same experience. DJ gave me the confidence to do it without pressuring me to stand up on the surfboard. At all times, I knew that he was right there, keeping me safe. Oh, and by the way, I did stand up on the surfboard and rode the wave in. It was exhilarating like nothing else I have ever done. I’m returning in October and look forward to more lessons with DJ.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience surfing with them today! DJ and Talvi (sorry if I spelt that wrong) were absolutely incredible instructors and did an amazing job teaching everything we needed to know. They were super friendly and made the overall experience memorable and exciting! I will cherish my time surfing today for the rest of my life!
